Job Summary

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  1. This position is responsible for verifying all prizes, paying all prizes to Bingo Floor Clerks and reconciles the finances.
  2. This position may also cover the task of issuing all papers to the Bingo Floor Clerks and receiving the returns.
  3. The Bingo Paymaster is responsible for working with the Bingo Supervisor to make sure all session paperwork is in order and accurate at the conclusion of each session.
  4. The Bingo Paymaster is responsible for the accurate counts of all papers from the paper room to the individual sellers in bingo and should never be in a selling position while performing these duties.
  5. The Bingo Paymaster may have access to the paper room during sessions.
  6. Performs all functions in accordance with applicable laws and gaming regulations, the mission and objectives of the Sugar Creek Casino and the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes, as well as established policies, procedures and controls.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must previous cashier experience.
  2. Must have a proven record of dependability, a desire to work as a team member and able to work under pressure.
  3. Must have excellent math and communication skills.
  4. Must be computer literate.
  5. Must meet requirements to qualify for a Gaming License by passing an extensive background security check.
  6. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  7. Must be willing to work weekends and nights.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  1.  A High school diploma is required.
  2. Should have one year experience working in a Tribal environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government laws and regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from group of managers, clients, customers, media, and the general public.

 MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

 REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram from and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

 

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Basic analytical and deductive reasoning ability.  Must be competent in computer skills.  Must have superior interpersonal relations skills.  Must have superior planning and organizational skills, ability to manage complex projects and investigations.
