Job Summary

SUMMARY:

Under general supervision assists the Information Technology Manager in advanced information technology work. Work performed may include coordinating and processing documentation, working on servers, computers, software, hardware, phone system, and other technical duties. Maintain compliance with Sugar Creek Casino policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  1. Prepares customer and management performance
  2. Identifies and initiates systems opportunities/projects.
  3. Develops a working knowledge of the assigned users business and objectives of the assigned application area or development project.
  4. Meets with management to discuss system requirements, proposal changes, priorities, schedules and service standards.
  5. Prepares systems specification, which described the access between the manual and automated portions and a conceptual overview of the automated system.
  6. Plans and monitors pilot and parallel testing effort.
  7. Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner.
  8. Perform all other duties to be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must be able to obtain a gaming license.
  2. Must have excellent verbal and written communication
  3. Must have previous experience in some aspect of Information Technology.
  4. Advance working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  5. Must be detailed oriented and thorough.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  1. High School diploma or GED required.
  2. College classes in a related area, or
  3. Previous experience in some aspect of Information
  4. Training, education, or experience in systems analysis, networking infrastructure, and help desk/troubleshooting experience is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government laws and regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from group of managers, clients, customers, media, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

 Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of place and solid geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram from and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Basic analytical and deductive reasoning ability. Must be competent in computer skills. Must have superior interpersonal relations skills. Must have superior planning and organizational skills, ability to manage complex projects and investigations.
